Salary: £150-230 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to work within a vibrant and supportive primary school in Rotherham, commencing September 2025. About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across the primary phase, planning and delivering engaging lessons that support pupils’ academic and social progress. You will play a vital role in promoting a love of learning while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative and well-structured lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupil success.
  • Uphold and contribute to the school’s ethos and commitment to excellence.
  • Manage behaviour positively and effectively, promoting high standards of conduct.
  • Support pupils’ well-being, development, and individual learning needs.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 within a UK primary setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the primary national curriculum and effective assessment methods.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to pupil progress.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A genuine passion for education and nurturing young learners.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
