Location: Eastleigh
Salary Range: £13.68 - £14.88 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:
In this SEN Learning Support role, you will be instrumental in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. You will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to deliver tailored support that encourages engagement, builds confidence, and promotes social and emotional development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted learning and behavioural support to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH challenges.
- Facilitate a supportive and inclusive learning environment to ensure equal access to the curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to implement and review individual support strategies.
- Support learners in developing communication, interaction, and regulation skills through structured routines and interventions.
- Monitor pupil progress, contributing to reports and reviews.
- Uphold safeguarding practices and promote pupil wellbeing at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Experience providing SEN support within an educational, care, or youth setting is essential.
- A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with vulnerable young people.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A relevant qualification in education, psychology, health and social care, or child development is desirable.
- Understanding of various Special Education Needs conditions, including autism and ADHD, etc.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
