Nursery Practitioner – Portsmouth
Location: Portsmouth | Setting: Nursery (Ages 0–5) | Full-Time | Sector: Early Years & Childcare
Are you a warm, caring, and enthusiastic individual who loves working with little ones? We’re looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Portsmouth, where every day is filled with fun, discovery, and learning.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll be right at the heart of the children’s daily experiences. Your role will involve:

Supporting children aged 0–5 through play, learning, and care routines

Helping plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS

Creating a safe, cosy, and engaging environment indoors and outdoors

Building strong, nurturing relationships with children, families, and your team

Observing and celebrating each child’s achievements and progress
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or a related subject

Some experience in a nursery or childcare setting

A gentle, positive, and patient approach to working with young children

A good understanding of the EYFS framework and the importance of play

A genuine passion for helping children grow, learn, and shine
