Early Years Practitioner Role Overview
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an essential role in caring for children aged 0–5, supporting their learning and development through purposeful play and daily routines. Your key responsibilities will include:

Childcare and Learning: Supporting planned activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to encourage learning and development.

Personal Development: Helping children build independence, confidence, and social skills in a nurturing environment.

Safe Environment: Ensuring the nursery space is clean, safe, and well-organised to promote exploration and play.

Observations and Reports: Monitoring children’s progress and contributing to their learning records and development plans.

Teamwork: Collaborating with fellow practitioners and communicating effectively with parents and carers.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent.

Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

A gentle, caring, and responsive approach to childcare.

A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.

Good organisational and communication skills.
