Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Salary: £30,000 – £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time/Permanent (Part time can also be arranged for the right candidate)

In this role of a Primary Teacher, you will motivate and guide young students to discover new concepts, grow their abilities, and gain the confidence to thrive both in school and in life. Collaborating with a caring team, you will design stimulating lessons that make every child feel important and supported. Your passion and commitment will be key in influencing their learning experience and helping them reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth.
  • Supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students through tailored teaching methods.
  • Collaborating with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students’ needs are met.
  • Maintaining effective classroom management to ensure a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Organising and participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and trips to enrich students' learning experiences.
  • Ensuring a safe, supportive, and well-organised classroom that promotes students' well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in the UK.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported.
  • Overseas-trained teachers with equivalent qualifications are welcome (subject to UK recognition and visa status).
  • Experience teaching in a mainstream primary school setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their academic and personal development.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and primary teaching standards.
  • Ability to create engaging, inclusive lessons and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • A full, up-to-date CV covering the last ten years, with any gaps explained.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
