Job Title: Maths Lead – Secondary
Location: Southsea
Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in developing and delivering an inspiring Maths curriculum for KS3–KS4 learners.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Maths staff, supporting high standards of teaching and learning.
- Use data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and drive attainment.
- Encourage a love for numeracy and problem-solving through engaging lesson delivery.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to support whole-school improvement goals.
Requirements:
- QTS/ECT/Overseas or equivalent qualification.
Experienced Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Cover Teachers are encouraged to apply. - Proven experience or passion for teaching Mathematics at a secondary level.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students.
- A full and update CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
