KS2 Teacher
Location: Gainsborough
Salary: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are actively seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join welcoming primary schools in the Gainsborough area. This position is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs ready to make a meaningful impact.

About the Role:

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will take charge of a class in Years 3 to 6, ensuring engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. You'll work closely with school staff to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

KS2 Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring lessons aligned with the KS2 national curriculum
  • Monitor pupil progress through assessments and feedback
  • Create a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom atmosphere
  • Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence in learning
  • Collaborate with parents, staff, and leadership to support every child’s development
  • Uphold school policies and maintain high expectations for behaviour

What we need from KS2 Teacher Candidate:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment methods
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
