Maths and Computer Science Teacher
Location: Malton, North Yorkshire
Start Date: 2nd June 2025
Contract: Part-Time 0.6-0.8, Term Time Only
Salary: MPS/UPS
GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Maths and Computer Science Teacher to work in a forward-thinking secondary school in the Malton area. This is a part-time, long-term role covering KS3 Computing and Maths from after May half term until the end of the academic year.
About the Role as a Maths and Computer Science Teacher:
- Delivering engaging and accessible KS3 Maths and Computing lessons.
- Working across a two-week timetable, covering the following days:
- Week A: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (not required Thursday)
- Week B: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday (not required Wednesday or Thursday)
- Providing general cover during non-teaching periods if required.
- Planning, marking, and assessing in line with school expectations.
As the ideal Maths and Computer Science Teacher, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
- Have experience teaching KS3 Maths and Computing.
- Be confident with classroom and behaviour management.
- Be adaptable and proactive, willing to step into general cover as needed.
- Be available across the listed dates and days.
