Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: 2nd June 2025
Contract: Temporary until 18th July 2025

GSL Education London Branch is currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Science Teacher to work at a secondary school in Newham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher who is confident in delivering lessons that engage students and promote strong progress in science.

Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:

Plan and deliver science lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students

Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs

Monitor student progress and keep clear records

Maintain a well-organised and calm classroom environment

Work closely with the science team and wider school staff

Take part in meetings, planning sessions, and other departmental activities

Ensure health and safety procedures are followed during practical work
Requirements for the Science Teacher Role:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

Proven experience teaching science in UK secondary schools
-
Good knowledge of the science curriculum and exam board specifications
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Clear communication and a professional approach
-
Eligible to work in the UK
