SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary School
Location: Chelmsford
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time
Daily Rate: £90–£115 (depending on experience)

Are you a patient, compassionate, and dedicated individual looking to support students with Special Educational Needs? A welcoming secondary school in Chelmsford is seeking a SEN LSA to join their supportive team this September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who need additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.

  • Work alongside teaching staff and SENCOs to implement tailored learning plans.

  • Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development.

  • Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

✅ Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school or similar setting).

  • A calm, nurturing approach and strong communication skills.

  • A proactive and adaptable team player.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
