SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary School
Location: Chelmsford
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time
Daily Rate: £90–£115 (depending on experience)
Are you a patient, compassionate, and dedicated individual looking to support students with Special Educational Needs? A welcoming secondary school in Chelmsford is seeking a SEN LSA to join their supportive team this September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who need additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.

Work alongside teaching staff and SENCOs to implement tailored learning plans.

Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development.

Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
✅ Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school or similar setting).

A calm, nurturing approach and strong communication skills.

A proactive and adaptable team player.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
