History Teacher
Location: Newham
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: After Half Term
Contract: Long Term

GSL Education London Branch is currently looking for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Newham. If you are a qualified History Teacher who is excited to inspire young minds and bring the past to life, we want to hear from you!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a History Teacher who enjoys working in a diverse and supportive school environment. As a History Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students understand important historical events and how they shape our world today.

History Teache Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons

  • Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 

  • Create a positive and safe learning environment

  • Use a variety of teaching methods to support all learning styles

  • Mark and assess students’ work regularly

  • Work closely with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

  • Support pupils in their academic and personal development

History Teache Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

  • Proven experience as a History Teacher in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge in History

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff

  • Passionate about education and inspiring the next generation
