Job Title: Primary Classroom Teacher
Location: Wimborne, Dorset
Salary: £30,000 - £46535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Full-time

If so, GSL Education are delighted to invite applications for a passionate and dedicated Primary Classroom Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wimborne, Dorset, starting in September 2025.

About the Role:

You will take on full classroom responsibilities, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons aligned with the national curriculum. The successful candidate will foster a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where every child can thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistently high-quality teaching across all primary subjects.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including school events and extracurricular activities.

Primary Classroom Teacher requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications welcomed from ECTs and internationally qualified teachers.
  • A solid understanding of the primary curriculum and key stages.
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A child-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
