Position: Science Teacher for Secondary
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Salary:
 £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time

What You'll Do

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Utilising a variety of teaching techniques, including hands-on experiments and real-life examples, to bring science to life in the classroom.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities to enrich the students' educational experience.

What You Bring

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or equivalent overseas qualifications.
  • Proven experience in teaching Science.
  • In-depth knowledge of the curriculum and current trends in science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and energise students.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Experienced Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Cover Teachers are also encouraged to apply.
