Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Winchester
Daily Rate: £88.94 to £104.16
Start Date: September

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate considering a future in education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and resource development.
- Provide tailored support to students to help them grasp challenging content.
- Foster a supportive and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
- Help implement creative teaching techniques and learning interventions.
- Play a key role in nurturing students’ confidence, well-being, and motivation.
- Develop your skills and classroom knowledge, perfect for those aspiring to a teaching career.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject area.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Enthusiastic, compassionate, and adaptable nature.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through GSL Education).
- A verifiable and checkable work history.
- Team player with strong communication and initiative.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Knowledge of relevant SEN strategies and interventions.
- Additional qualifications in education or psychology.

- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
