Location: Maidstone
Salary: £120 – £250 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time, Until Christmas

GSL Education Kent are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join a progressive school in Maidstone on a full-time basis, starting immediately until Christmas. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator ready to engage students and deliver high-quality science lessons with full planning and marking responsibilities.

As a Science Teacher, your role will include:
• Planning and delivering engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Creating a classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement.
• Taking full responsibility for marking, assessment, and reporting on student progress.
• Supporting the wider school community through collaboration and involvement in staff meetings and CPD.
• Ensuring that every student feels valued, challenged, and supported.

To be considered for the Science Teacher role, you must:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualifications.
• Have experience teaching Science at secondary level, including GCSE.
• Be confident in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet diverse student needs.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Be proactive, professional, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
