Secondary Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: Sunderland
Salary: £150 - £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Daily Supply, Long-Term

A forward-thinking secondary school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming school in Sunderland. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that align with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Assess, track, and support student progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Take part in ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards completion of teacher training.
- Subject specialism in any core or foundation subject at secondary level.
- A genuine passion for education and inspiring young people.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration with colleagues.
- A valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
