Maths Teacher with TLR – Permanent Role
Location: Harlow
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £40,000–£60,000 (depending on experience and TLR responsibilities)
Are you an experienced Maths Teacher ready to take on more responsibility and step into a leadership role? A high-achieving secondary school in Harlow is looking for a committed and capable Maths specialist to join their team from September 2025 in a permanent position with TLR.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact both in the classroom and across the wider Maths department.
The Role:

Deliver outstanding Maths lessons across KS3–KS4 (KS5 available).

Take on departmental leadership responsibilities (such as Key Stage Coordination or Curriculum Development).

Support and mentor other staff members, contributing to a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.

Play a key role in shaping teaching and learning strategies across the Maths faculty.
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong track record of success in the classroom.

Previous leadership or coordination experience is desirable.

Passion for teaching Maths and driving student achievement.

Organised, reflective, and able to inspire both students and colleagues.
