Maths Teacher
Location: Hull
Salary: M1 to UPS3 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day/Long Term, Full-time/Part-time

In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in delivering engaging Maths lessons across key stages and supporting students to develop essential numeracy skills. This role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain valuable teaching experience in a vibrant setting.

Teacher of Maths Responsibilities:

  • Teach Maths across various key stages according to national curriculum standards
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive learning experience
  • Contribute to department planning and extra-curricular activities
  • Support students with varied academic and emotional needs

Mathematics Teacher Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism or experience in teaching Maths in UK secondary settings
  • Strong classroom management skills and adaptable teaching approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience working in alternative provision or similar settings is advantageous
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply
