Job Title: Key Stage 1 Teacher
Location: Barton
Salary Range: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and nurturing KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming school community in Barton. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging, imaginative, and supportive lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence in young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver imaginative and stimulating lessons that meet the needs of KS1 learners.
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels supported, respected, and motivated.
- Promote early skills in reading, writing, maths, and social development using age-appropriate approaches.
- Collaborate effectively with support staff and leadership to ensure pupils’ individual needs are addressed.
- Monitor student achievement, adapting teaching strategies and offering constructive feedback.
- Communicate regularly with families and carers to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
- Inspire curiosity and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning through creative and hands-on teaching.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working within the classroom or specialisation in KS1 curriculum.
- A creative and engaging approach to teaching.
- Strong behaviour management skills and classroom presence.
- Commitment to student development, well-being, and safeguarding.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
