Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging geography lessons that cover a wide range of topics and geographical concepts.
- Using a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Stimulating students' curiosity about the world through hands-on activities, fieldwork, and interactive discussions.
- Supporting students in developing their geographical skills, including map reading, data analysis, and critical thinking.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
- Previous experience teaching geography in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
