KS2 Teacher
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day/Long Term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a confident and committed KS2 Teacher to work within welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Grimsby. Whether you're looking for a daily supply or a long-term position, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute positively to the development of Key Stage 2 pupils.

About the role:

As a KS2 (Key Stage 2) Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a broad and balanced curriculum to children in upper primary years. You’ll play a crucial role in nurturing independent learning, creativity, and critical thinking in a safe and encouraging environment.

Responsibilities of KS2 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, keeping accurate records
  • Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Use varied teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
  • Support the emotional and social development of pupils
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff and external agencies
  • Uphold and promote the school’s values and behaviour policies

Key Stage 2 Teacher Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils across UK primary schools
  • A sound understanding of the National Curriculum for KS2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive and reflective teaching style
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply
