KS1 Teacher
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day/Long Term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified KS1 Teachers to work in vibrant and welcoming primary schools in Grimsby. Whether you’re seeking flexible daily supply work or a long-term role, we have excellent opportunities available.
As a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment, delivering the national curriculum, and supporting students' academic and emotional development. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of early childhood education and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
Responsibilities of Key Stage 1 Teacher:
- Plan, prepare and deliver creative and effective lessons to KS1 pupils
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress and development
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
- Support pupils with varying needs, including those with EAL or additional learning needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development and school activities
KS1 Teacher Skills & Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 across UK primary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS1
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to the academic and personal growth of all pupils
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
