Job Title: SEND Graduates
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £88.94 - £104.84 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: After May 2025 Half Term
Contract: Full-time

Are you a graduate with a passion for supporting learners with Special Educational Needs? If so, GSL Education are seeking an ambitious and caring SEND Graduatesto work in a warm and welcoming schoolin Scunthorpe.

As a SEND Graduate, you will gain invaluable classroom experience while supporting pupils with a range of needs, such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. Working alongside experienced teaching staff, you will provide tailored support to help students thrive academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group support tailored to the specific needs of pupils.
  • Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning tasks.
  • Help students build confidence, emotional regulation, and independence.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to implement support strategies.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils during therapy sessions, play-based learning, or sensory activities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree in any subject (Psychology, Education, or related fields are desirable).
  • A genuine interest in working with children with SEND.
  • Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in a school or care setting is essential.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
