Supply Primary Teacher
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-Time

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a qualified Primary Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and ensure continuity of learning across primary year groups in Tunbridge Wells. This role is ideal for experienced teachers, ECTs, or professionals seeking a balanced work-life schedule.

The role:

As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will step into the classroom with confidence, ensuring lessons are delivered effectively and children’s progress is maintained. You’ll work with existing lesson plans and collaborate with a welcoming team of staff. This role offers excellent exposure to a range of key stages and a chance to develop your classroom experience within a reputable educational setting.

Responsibilities of Supply Primary Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on need
  • Follow provided lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to suit pupil needs
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and school leaders
  • Provide written or verbal feedback on pupil progress if required
  • Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development

What we need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent in the UK is essential
  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
  • Adaptable, reliable, and committed to high standards of teaching
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
