ASD Teaching Assistant – ABA Experience Preferred (Maidenhead)
Full-Time | Immediate Start | Term-Time Only

Are you passionate about supporting children with autism? Do you have experience using ABA strategies or working with non-verbal students?

We’re looking for a committed and patient Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a welcoming and well-structured school in Maidenhead. This is a full-time, term-time role with an immediate start.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting children with autism in class and during 1:1 sessions

  • Using ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) strategies to manage behaviour and encourage communication

  • Helping students with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and transitions

  • Working closely with SENCOs, therapists, and class teachers

  • Using visuals, PECS or Makaton (training can be provided)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with ASD

  • Understanding or training in ABA approaches (desirable)

  • Calm, reliable and confident supporting behavioural needs

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Full-time availability (Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:00)
