ASD Teaching Assistant – ABA Experience Preferred (Maidenhead)
Full-Time | Immediate Start | Term-Time Only
Are you passionate about supporting children with autism? Do you have experience using ABA strategies or working with non-verbal students?
We’re looking for a committed and patient Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a welcoming and well-structured school in Maidenhead. This is a full-time, term-time role with an immediate start.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting children with autism in class and during 1:1 sessions

Using ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) strategies to manage behaviour and encourage communication

Helping students with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and transitions

Working closely with SENCOs, therapists, and class teachers

Using visuals, PECS or Makaton (training can be provided)
What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience working with children or young people with ASD
-
Understanding or training in ABA approaches (desirable)

Calm, reliable and confident supporting behavioural needs

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Full-time availability (Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:00)
