Salary: £150-230 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:
As a Primary Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to the unique learning needs of each child. You will work closely with the school's staff to create a positive, safe, and motivating learning environment. Your role will involve planning, preparing, and delivering a curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that meet the curriculum requirements and encourage active participation.
- Implement a range of teaching methods to ensure effective learning for all pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, fostering a safe and inclusive environment where they can thrive.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to both pupils and parents.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a focused, respectful learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s educational strategies, ensuring the holistic development of pupils.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the school through team-based efforts.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required to stay up-to-date with best practices and school policies.
Ideal Candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience of teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally with experience in planning and delivering lessons.
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, with the ability to differentiate to meet the needs of all learners.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- The ability to motivate and inspire young children to reach their full potential.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
