KS1 Teacher
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £130 – £180 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

As a KS1 (Key Stage 1) Teacher, you will take responsibility for guiding children through their first key stage in primary education, laying the foundations for lifelong learning. You will plan and deliver exciting lessons, help pupils build confidence, and create a positive environment where every child can succeed and feel valued.
Responsibilities of a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the KS1 curriculum.
- Provide a balanced and supportive learning environment to ensure academic and personal growth.
- Use formative and summative assessment techniques to track progress and inform future planning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including EAL and lower-attaining pupils.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support learning and well-being.
- Maintain a well-organised and stimulating classroom environment.
- Contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and school initiatives as required.
- Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion policies consistently.
KS1 Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting in the UK is preferred.
- A thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
