Teacher of Science (Physics)
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2025
Salary:
MPS/UPS; £31,650 - £49,084 per annum

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of Science with expertise in Physics? We are seeking a dynamic Science Teacher specialising in Physics to work at client Secondary School in Malton, North Yorkshire, starting in September 2025.

Teacher of Science (Physics) Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Physics lessons that cater to different learning styles in accordance with the AQA curriculum.
  • Creating hands-on experiments and interactive activities to make learning come alive.
  • Providing individualized support and guidance to students, helping them excel in their studies.
  • Establish and enforce classroom rules, manage student behavior, and ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere for learning.
  • Design assessments, quizzes, tests, and projects to evaluate students' understanding of Physics concepts.

Teacher of Science (Physics) requirements:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status, with UK-based teaching experience.
  • Hold a relevant Degree at 2:1 or higher.
  • Have recent classroom teaching experience in teaching Physics, in-line with the AQA curriculum.
  • A deep passion for Physics and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
