Primary Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £150 – £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

About the role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will play an essential role in supporting the learning journey of pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, ensuring all students reach their full potential in a nurturing classroom setting.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inspiring and structured lessons across KS1 or KS2, based on the school’s needs.
  • Plan lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school guidelines.
  • Use effective differentiation to support all students, including EAL and lower-attaining learners.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to adapt teaching strategies.
  • Create a stimulating and safe classroom environment that supports learning.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and staff to meet all learners’ needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress and well-being.
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and INSET days.
  • Adhere to school safeguarding, behaviour, inclusion, and equality policies.

Requirements for Primary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
