Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Rotherham (S62)
Salary: £86 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to present an incredible opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team at a nurturing and supportive school in Rotherham (S62). Key Responsibilities of Early Years Practitioner:

  • Tailor educational activities and resources to meet the specific needs of the children.
  • Help the children understand and complete their activities, providing additional explanations and assistance as needed.
  • Provide feedback to teachers and adjust support strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure a cohesive approach to child development.
  • Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where the children feel valued and included.
  • Cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of the children.
  • Report to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.

Requirements of Early Years Practitioner:

  • Must hold Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Forest school experience is desirable.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of the children.
  • Effectively communicate with the children, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
  • Ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
  • Exhibit patience and empathy in your interactions.

To work with us as an Early Years Practitioner, you will need:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with us.
