Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Salary Range: £94 – £140 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Full-time

GSL Education seeks a dedicated and adaptable Supply Teacher to join a vibrant mainstream secondary school in Chichester, starting September 2025. This is a full-time role, ideal for experienced teachers or individuals seeking a flexible and rewarding opportunity in education.
As a Supply Teacher, you will step into different classrooms to deliver engaging lessons, maintain high standards of behaviour, and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Adapt quickly to new classroom environments and student needs.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Provide feedback to permanent staff regarding student progress and any notable concerns.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous teaching or classroom experience is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students across a range of subjects.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
