Job Title: PPA Teacher
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £180 - £200 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

If so, GSL Education are on the lookout for a passionate and adaptable PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to work across a vibrant primary school in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative teacher who enjoys working across different year groups and subjects, ensuring high-quality learning continues in the absence of the class teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across a variety of primary year groups.
- Maintain continuity of learning by following teachers' planning and contributing to the delivery of the curriculum.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual students, including those with additional learning needs.
- Manage the classroom effectively, promoting positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Mark work and leave detailed feedback for the regular class teacher.
- Support the school’s ethos and contribute to whole-school activities where needed.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and a flexible, proactive approach.
- Experience across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2 is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt to different classes and teaching styles with confidence.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
