Cover Supervisor – Leicester

£110–£130 per day | Depending on experience and qualifications

GSL Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain further experience in education, support local schools and make a positive impact on students' learning.

The Role

• Supervising classes across a range of secondary school subjects.

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain on task.

• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Supporting students with their learning where required.

• Following school policies and maintaining safeguarding standards.

• Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.

• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A positive, reliable and flexible approach.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

• Relevant qualifications or experience in education are advantageous.
