Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher who can bring mathematical concepts to life and encourage young people to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills?
GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking for an enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to work in a school in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be able to deliver clear and engaging lessons, encourage logical thinking and help pupils build confidence in applying mathematical concepts.
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver effective Maths lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
- Explain mathematical concepts and methods clearly.
- Develop pupils' numeracy, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Assess pupils' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and encourage participation.
- Work with colleagues to support pupils' academic progress.
Requirements for the Maths Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Strong mathematical subject knowledge.
- Experience teaching Maths in a school setting is desirable.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
