Role: Nursery Assistant / Assistant Practitioner (Unqualified)
Location: Locations across Greater Manchester
Pay Rate: £14.25 – £15.09 per hour
Hours: Full-time & Flexible shifts
About the Role:
Do you have hands-on experience caring for young children and want to build a career in Early Years without a formal qualification? We are hiring experienced, unqualified Nursery Assistants across Greater Manchester to help create safe, fun, and nurturing environments for children aged 0–5.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist room leaders with day-to-day nursery routines, meal times, and play activities.

Encourage children's social interaction, confidence, and independence through play.

Help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming indoor and outdoor learning areas.

Support the nursery team in delivering compassionate and high-standard care.
Requirements:

Proven hands-on experience working with children aged 0–5 (e.g., prior nursery work, nannying, or childminding experience).

Genuine love for working with early years children and a reliable, energetic work ethic.

Basic understanding of child safety and safeguarding principles.

Valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
