We’re looking for compassionate, patient and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to join specialist schools and provisions across North London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or someone looking to develop their career within specialist education.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, supported and empowered to reach their potential. You’ll provide personalised learning support, encourage communication and independence, and build positive relationships with students who may have complex and diverse needs.

The Role

We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants with experience, knowledge or a strong interest in supporting learners with:

  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Complex medical, physical or additional needs
  • Sensory impairments and communication differences
  • Non-verbal communication, including AAC, PECS and sensory cues
  • Personal care and intimate care, where required
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
  • Sensory regulation, engagement and emotional wellbeing
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and wider support teams

Why Join Us?

Whether you’re looking for flexible supply work, short-term placements or a long-term opportunity, we can help you find a role that matches your experience, availability and career goals.

You’ll have the opportunity to work within specialist settings where your skills, patience and compassion can have a genuine impact every day.

Experience in care, therapy, healthcare or specialist education is highly valued, although we’re also keen to hear from individuals with the right attitude, commitment and passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.

If you’re a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who wants to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!
