GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Computer Studies (CS) Teacher for a dynamic school in Doncaster. This opportunity is ideal for a teacher who can make technical concepts accessible, encourage logical thinking and help pupils use technology confidently and responsibly.
As a Computer Studies Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons.
- Teach computing concepts and relevant digital skills.
- Encourage logical thinking, creativity and problem-solving.
- Assess pupils' understanding and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt lessons to support pupils with different abilities.
- Promote safe and responsible use of technology.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that supports learning.
Requirements for the Computer Studies Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential for this role.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Studies or a related subject.
- Experience teaching computing or digital technology is desirable.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
