Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently seeking a creative and committed Design and Technology (D&T) Teacher for a school in Doncaster. This role is suited to a teacher who can deliver practical, engaging lessons and help pupils develop design skills, independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities of a Design and Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons.
- Teach design principles, practical techniques and safe equipment use.
- Set projects that encourage creativity and problem-solving.
- Assess pupils' work and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning needs.
- Maintain a safe and organised classroom or workshop.
- Encourage pupils to develop practical skills and work independently.
Requirements for the Design and Technology Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Strong subject knowledge and practical teaching skills.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology is desirable.
- Ability to plan effective lessons and assess pupil progress.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
