Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently seeking a motivated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to work in a wonderful school in Barnsley. This opportunity is ideal for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging physical education lessons, encourage participation and help pupils develop their physical abilities and confidence.
Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
- Teach a range of physical activities and sporting skills.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship and positive participation.
- Monitor pupils' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt activities to meet different abilities and learning needs.
- Maintain a safe environment during practical lessons.
- Promote healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
Requirements for the PE Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physical education.
- Experience teaching PE in a school setting is desirable.
- Ability to motivate pupils and manage classes effectively.
- Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
