About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support classroom activities and help pupils engage with their learning. You may provide individual or small-group support, helping pupils develop their skills and confidence in a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.

Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support.

Encourage pupils to participate in lessons and stay focused.

Support positive behaviour and classroom management.

Help pupils develop independence, confidence and social skills.

Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A patient, caring and adaptable approach.

The ability to encourage and motivate pupils.

A genuine interest in children's learning and development.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
