About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support classroom learning, encourage pupil participation and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You may provide individual or small-group support to help pupils build confidence, develop skills and make progress.
Key Responsibilities

Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.

Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support.

Encourage pupils to participate in lessons and remain engaged.

Support positive behaviour and effective classroom management.

Help pupils develop independence, confidence and social skills.

Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A patient, caring and flexible approach.

The ability to encourage and motivate pupils.

A genuine interest in supporting children's education.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
