Job Title: Math Teacher

Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking knowledgeable and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to work in secondary schools across Doncaster. We are looking for qualified educators who can explain mathematical concepts clearly, engage students through effective teaching approaches, and inspire a positive attitude towards mathematics among learners of different abilities.
In the role of a Maths Teacher, you will help students strengthen their numerical understanding, develop analytical skills, and apply mathematical knowledge to practical situations while supporting their academic progress and confidence.
Math Teacher Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that develop numerical fluency and problem-solving abilities
- Teach essential mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and arithmetic
- Use different teaching strategies to make complex concepts easier to understand
- Adapt learning activities to accommodate varied abilities and individual support needs
- Assess student understanding and provide constructive feedback to improve attainment
- Maintain a structured and encouraging classroom environment that promotes participation and independent thinking
Math Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong knowledge of mathematics and relevant teaching approaches
- Previous experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school is desirable
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts effectively to students with different learning abilities
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and lesson planning skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
