Teacher – Tameside
Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester
Salary: M1–M6 pay scale, £170 per day minimum (supply) / MPS/UPS pro rata (long-term/permanent)
Contract: Day-to-Day & Long-Term Supply, with Permanent Opportunities
Start Date: Trial days available within the next 7 days, with a start in the coming weeks
We are recruiting a Year 2 Teacher for a primary school in Tameside. Trial days are available within the next 2 weeks, with a view to a settled placement starting asap through to the end of the year.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 2
- Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records
- Manage classroom behaviour and routines
- Support pupils’ progress toward Year 2 SATs expectations
- Work closely with the wider Year KS1 team on planning and moderation
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
- Experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 2
- Strong subject knowledge and confident lesson planning
- Available for a trial day within the next week
