Salary: £92.63 – £125.36 per day
About the Role:
An energetic and compassionate Teaching Assistant is required to provide tailored 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) featuring ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and speech and language needs. You will play a crucial role in helping the student access the curriculum and thrive socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s individual EHCP outcomes.

Use sensory strategies and visual aids (e.g., PECS/Visual Timetables) to support learning and routine transitions.

Implement positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.

Work closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external therapists to monitor progress.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND).

Relevant qualification (Level 2/3 TA, Health & Social Care, or Psychology degree).

Calm, patient, and proactive approach to managing challenging behaviours.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
