GSL Education are recruiting for a KS1 Teacher to work full time at a primary school in Harlow from January 2027. This is a long term supply position, suitable for a qualified teacher looking for their next teaching role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a Key Stage 1 class, planning lessons and supporting pupils' learning and development in line with the National Curriculum.

The Role

  • Teaching a KS1 class on a full-time basis.

  • Planning, preparing and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Assessing and monitoring pupils' progress.

  • Managing classroom behaviour and establishing clear routines.

  • Creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils with different learning needs.

  • Working alongside teaching assistants and other school staff.

  • Completing marking, assessment and other usual teaching responsibilities.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching in a primary school, ideally within KS1.

  • Good classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • The ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet pupils' learning needs.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • A reliable and professional approach.
