- Salary Scale: £150–£220 per day
- Start Date: 15th December 2026
- End Date: 21st July 2027
- Contract: Long Term and Full Time
GSL Education are currently looking for a qualified SEN Teacher to join a lovely school in Tower Hamlets, E1. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher to take responsibility for the school's SEND provision, supporting 10 students with high needs, mostly with Autism, across Years 1–4. You will work alongside a team of three Teaching Assistants and benefit from dedicated PPA time for planning.
About SEN Teacher Role:
- Taking responsibility for the school's SEND provision, supporting 10 students with high needs.
- Teaching students with additional needs, mostly Autism, across Years 1–4.
- Working collaboratively with three Teaching Assistants to support students' learning and development.
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs.
- Using appropriate teaching strategies to support students' academic, social and emotional development.
- Making effective use of dedicated PPA time for lesson planning and preparation.
Ideal candidates will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have previous experience teaching in an SEN provision or specialist SEN school.
- Be confident supporting students with Autism and complex needs.
- Have experience creating and delivering differentiated lesson plans.
- Be able to provide recent teaching references.
- Have strong classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
