Salary: Up to £200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their mathematical understanding and apply their knowledge with confidence. You will use a range of teaching approaches to meet different learning needs, monitor progress and work closely with colleagues to support positive outcomes for pupils.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Assess, monitor and record student progress effectively.

Adapt and differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs.

Prepare students for GCSE Maths where appropriate.

Establish clear expectations and manage classroom behaviour consistently.

Use assessment and feedback to help students identify and improve areas for development.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

Excellent communication, organisation and planning skills.

A commitment to helping students develop confidence and achieve their potential in Maths.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
