Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are recruiting enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teachers to work in primary schools across Doncaster. We are looking qualified educators who can deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, accommodate different levels of ability, and create a classroom environment where children feel encouraged to participate, question, and progress.
The KS 2 Teacher will have the opportunity to teach children across Years 3 to 6, developing strong foundations in core subjects while encouraging creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and increasing independence.
Key Stage 2 Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Develop essential skills across English, Mathematics, Science, and wider curriculum subjects
- Differentiate activities to meet varied abilities and individual learning needs
- Encourage curiosity, independent thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving
- Assess attainment and use progress information to guide future teaching
- Create an inclusive and structured classroom environment that promotes positive learning
Key Stage 2 Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment expectations
- Previous experience teaching primary-aged children is desirable
- Ability to plan and differentiate learning for a range of abilities
- Effective classroom management, organisation, and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
