1:1 Tutor
Location: Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire
Contract: Part-time / Flexible
Start Date: ASAP
Role: 1:1 In-Person Tutor
Salary: £26 – £35 per hour
GSL Education are currently seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to provide in-person tuition to children and young people in the Goole area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher, tutor or experienced education professional who is passionate about supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and helping them make positive progress with their education.
The Role
- Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition in person.
- Plan and adapt sessions to meet the individual learner’s needs and abilities.
- Support the pupil to develop confidence, engagement and independence.
- Monitor progress and provide appropriate feedback.
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with the learner.
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals where appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, supportive and positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher, experienced Tutor or education professional.
- Previous experience delivering 1:1 tuition is desirable.
- Patient, supportive and able to build positive relationships with young people.
- Able to adapt teaching to individual needs.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
